The plan was that we were all to meet up at the bike park in Newcastle at 11:00 am Saturday morning..(  us being me and the CCRIDERS   )being a very punctual type I had arrived at 10 minutes to the hour , and had settled at a local cafe to enjoy a coffee. It was a nice morning, reasonably sunny on leaving Belfast, but once out towards Newcastle there was a damp mist in the air...  but still warm enough to enjoy the run down.

Phil was next to arrive, then Mark,  Brendan, well what can you say about Brendan,? he arrived shortly after.... after half eleven that is...

Anyhow, we headed off the plan being to head over to Bishopscourt.... the weather  had picked up quite a bit by this time... and we were all enjoying the roads...

We reached Bishopscourt,  but didn't go in...   all four of us were agreed that £10  would be better spent on fuel and a bit of lunch, which is just what we did. After a quick spurt to Portaferry, we took the ferry across to Strangford, where we had a bite to eat, then headed on round the coast into Bangor.

We only stopped at Bangor for a short while, .and we parted company soon after at Belfast where the CCRIDERS headed off for Newcastle and Newry.

A really nice day out lads,,, hope to do it again soon....
