here we are into 2005, and its the first Sunday in January...
It has been a cold but dry day, so the 49-ers just had to get out for a run down to Newcastle. You can probably just make out from the snow on the peaks of the Mournes that this is no weather for sunbathing, but given the proper clothing, and preparation, a good day out can still be had on a motorcycle.
The shot above could have been taken in black and white, as the Bandit and the Zx10r were both salt encrusted, and needed a thorough wash when they got home.
This has been the first of the 49-ers Sunday ride outs 2005, many more to follow.
