What a day it was too... Blue skies, light winds, and a temperature that never got much above three degrees Celsius...... But, A hell of a great ride-out.

I set off on my Bandit about 9:30 am to drive to Mikes house at Glynn, for a 10:00 am kick off.
The reason for the early start is pictured above, ( and I'm still smiling too ) I got a loan of the R1 (pictured above) for the whole day..
What a nice change from riding a 12Bandit it was too. even with slippery road surfaced to contend with.
From Mikes we headed into Carrickfergus where the 49-ERS had arranged to meet at Harold's shop "PRO BIKE " before setting off on our Frozen Turkey ride-out.
Only eight of us showed up for the run, but what the heck, it was a great day , cold but dry. We set off just after 11:00am and let Colin set the pace on Victors' "Triumph America". for a brisk run down into Newcastle, where we stopped off lunch.
You can see from the photograph just how nice a day it was, anyone with a bike laying rusting in the garage should be ashamed of themselves for missing out on a day like that!
So there we have it, Bikes are for riding, and any good day over the winter months is a bonus..
The 49-ers rarely miss a Sunday ride-out, rain or shine. anyone is welcome to ride with us.
We are all NUTS nuts about motorcycling that is!
Seasons greetings to you all, and why not join us for a ride-out any Sunday... in 2005
