The North West 200  2005

Norma and Brian's new house . its a great spot to watch the racing.

The 49-ers had a great day out at the North West 200.   Our thanks to Norma and Brian for their hospitality, and a special thanks to Norma for all those cups of tea and biscuits through out the racing.

Well,  we had an early start, meeting up at Corrs Corner roundabout at 08:00am.   Myself , Trevor, Mike, Noel, Tommy, Bruce, Davy and Marie.

Heading out through Doagh, trying to miss out on the worst of the traffic, we skirted Ballymena but had to join in to the main routes into Portrush/Portstewart for the final few miles of the trip..

There was a very high Police profile. both in marked and unmarked vehicles...

Although we did encounter a few blue lights and sirens, we made it to Norma and Brian's house , between Portrush and Portstewart..

The racing was great..

even in the rain the racing went on

What a great day out , and free too, where would you get it?
